First boil toor dhal and moong dhal in equal portions in a pressure cooker along with one tsp salt, one tsp whole jeera, 2 garlic, little hint or lg, one tsp white sesame seeds. Cook for 15 minutes. When done mash well and keep separate.
In a separate bowl add oil, when boiled add mustard, whole urid dhal, finely chopped onions – 1/2, curry leaves – 10 leaves, dried red chillies – 3. Fry until the onion is golden brown and turn off the flame. Add this in the above mixture and the paruppu is ready.
