Ingredients: Rice- 1 cup, moong dhal – 1 cup, Ghee- 1 cup, cashews little, whole Jeera- 2 tsp, whole pepper- 2tsp, Ginger chopped- handful, green chillies chopped – 2, curry leaves – little, LG powder – a pinch and salt to taste.
First boil rice and moong dhal with water and pinch of salt and turn off the cooker in one whistle.
Saute the above ingredients with ghee and add to the rice and mix thoroughly. Ven Pongal ready
