Rasam

Rasam was always the last entree before the desert in South Indian meals. My Mom says that Rasam helps in digestion and also has healing properties when you are sick. I would love to share this recipe with you guys. Enjoy!!Below is the recipe..In a mixer blend the below

  1. Whole pepper – 1 tbsp
  2. Cumin seeds – 1 tbsp
  3. Fennel seeds – 1 tsp
  4. Fenugreek – 1 tsp
  5. LG – little
  6. Garlic – 3 cloves
  7. Ginger – very little
  8. Cilantro – Handful
  9. Green Chillies – 1
  10. Curry leaves – 5
  11. Tomato -2

In a wok add below and season

  1. Oil
  2. Mustard – little
  3. Urad dhal – little
  4. Red chillies – 3
  5. Curry leaves – few

Then add the ground ingredients from mixer and add little tamarind joice and salt.Garnish with coriander leaves.
